Dr. Sketchy's Samara!

From late March: belly-dancer Samara's Sketchy debut.

Samara's gesture poses were amazing - and perfect for squiggly one line drawings!

Some interesting poses!

This last drawing won me the prize for the second act - too bad I had to leave early and missed the third!

Stabat Mater poster for the Cantata Singers of Ottawa

Here is a poster I created for a concert happening tomorrow night in Ottawa. A big thank you to model Jamie!

About the Concert - Our concert for Holy Week features two contrasting masterpieces by contemporaries Domenico Scarlatti and J.S. Bach (both born in 1685). Scarlatti's remarkable Stabat Mater, scored for ten independent voice parts, is an outstanding example of Italian polyphony, with melodic motifs and dissonances reminiscent of Monteverdi. Jesu Meine Freude is the greatest of Bach's six motets and represents the finest achievement of the German Baroque.
