Phoning this one in from my family home in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. It's a little rushed, and I am not completely satisfied with the face and skirt. Working away from the studio is hard!

Outfitted Week 4

Outfitted: week 4, 11.5" x 13" Watercolour on Canson paper

The Leslie Spit is one of my favourite places to be in August in Toronto. 10 minutes on a bike and I feel like I have left the city. The yellow tansy flowers make the air smell of honey, and the crickets drown out any traffic sounds from the city.

cardigan: charm joah from doll factory by damzels
chrysanthemum camisole: vintage from gadabout
jeans: yoga jeans from max's wholesale (queen and pape, toronto)
shoes: nicole from winners
earrings: the lola collection (found via modish)

Outfitted: week 3, 11.5" x 13" Watercolour on Canson paper

August always means time in the sun on the beaches of the Toronto Islands! The water was superb last weekend, though the wee red ants were out in full force. I am still itchy!

bikini top: elladora, from nathalie-roze & co.
sun glasses: vintage, from pomegranate (naisi's), a fabulous antique store in North Hatley, Quebec

I can't go a day without checking in on Modish, a great handmade, vintage, and indie fashion blog. Inspired by blogger Jena Coray's weekly Outfitted posts, I have decided to photograph and paint my outfits, maybe not weekly, but definitely on a regular basis. This is my first attempt - Romper in the hammock

romper: mango, paris
belt:
embody, found at nathalie-roze & co.
hammock: gifted, brought back from columbia by supergenius
jp
hair: michelle at fuss
